  1. How do you change the transition effect? I just want to create a really simple rectangular image carousel without any buttons, that automatically fades into the next image….I find all checkerbox fade outs really tacky. The web designer 11 'New Xara Slideshow' function doesn't work either so any help on how to create a nice simple, rectangular image carousel would be greatly appreciated

  3. I watched the whole vieo to find out the one thing I needed to know YOU did not cover  — How to install the widget – when I upload the site the widget does not work it shows on the webpage on myserver that it is there but nothing in that square no photos

  5. Hello, your lessons are perfect…Thank you very much, but i  have one question.
    How to resize the template not only the image inside… For example i have this template but he is with size 900×350 and i dont want this size, but when i change from the page after this i have blank space, i cant see images. When i want resize somthing i can only the images. I want this template to make it 1280×300 and after this change the picture. Thanks again.

  6. I place the pictures in a gallery when I see preview I can see all of them but when I uploaded I can't see those pictures only a small icon with an x on the centre. what can be wrong?

    I have added an Xara Tutorial that shows how you can resize photo slideshows in Xara Web Designer MX Premium Version 8. See Xara Tutorials Lesson 57 for more details. Hope that helps with your question on how to resize photo slideshows.

    Yes it is possible to re-size widget in Xara Web Designer MX 8 Pemium but not in version 7 premium.
