  1. I am new to page templates, this tutorial explains the implementation with such simplicity, its good learning.

For my specific scenario – I have a page with a Login button, so conditionally, when user is NOT logged in I want to show the login button, but when user is logged in, I want to show a message – "user already logged in". So how do I create a template for the original page and apply user logged in status condition to the same?

    Thanks

  2. hello WPLearningLab Good day, please can you recommend a tutorial or create a tutorial to build advanced custom fields for pages without using ACF plugin. can we learn to build our own ACF(advanced custom field) or extend WordPress own for every page

  5. Hello, I actually have a lot of custom things I want to do that iv struggled to figure out how to do. One of those things is how I can create a template/master page where users can click on something like a specific object and the data gets filled into that template page for that particular object. if you click on another object it then takes that data and fills it in. anyone have any ideas on how to do this or where I can find out?

  6. Seriously I worked with 4 fiverr guys and a guy from work, OceanWP premium support (paid to ask this question) and Peepso. 3 of the fiverr guys said it couldn't be done and one said it would be $60. Thank you SOOO much!!!

  7. Hey, just watched another of this video. This is close to what I'm wondering. I want to use categories as menu items to break up the blog posts. But, I want the page that those blog posts show up as the "category" to be different than just, for example, three columns across. I want the home page to be the blog. All the blog posts fine. But, the navs will be Cat1, Cat2, Cat3 for example, and when you go to those "pages" they are laid out as two columns of blog posts running chrono, with a sidebar with "Archives" "affiliated stuff" "calendar or whatnot. Doable? I'm not a developer but I could probably follow along. Your tutorial was fairly simple to follow. I almost want the opposite of what you showed. A page for categories that has a side bar. But I don't see anyway to use a page along with categories as menu items.

  8. i want to add custom footer to all my pages , i made the footer using the editor and i saved it as a template but how to just inject it to all the pages so i don't have to edit the template in all my pages ?

  9. hi, i've problem with custom page template..i wan't to create meta box field based on template layout choosen and the changes of meta box fields input is trigger by combobox template type. How to do it?? help plz.

  10. Amazing how complicate wordpress can make some things ..
All we talking about is to add some custom pages and open the code to developers .
But no it is not so simple in wordpress !!! Man this should be entuitive for open source platform like wordpress instead of googling and watching tons of videos in order to be able to do it ..
    But good video thanks!

  11. Hello so I'm using oceanwp and elementor I created my own price calculator (html/javascript/css) and want to add that calculator into one of the pages in my website.. can you help me out?

  12. Great Tutorial, need a custom page template where one removes the header and footer to allow a plugin access to the full page without affecting the operation of the theme with index.php rather than page.php. In my case, the plugin is a community plugin which does not use the header and footer but the rest of the website still require these details.

  13. VERY USEFUL, I just subscribed to your channel! Could you please explain how to use the custom posts created with the free plugin wp movie library on a custom page template? Thanks!
