I watched this because Vincent Rodríguez III is in this, but now I realized I was expecting to see "Josh" from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Honestly, this is a show where nothing really happens. I don't even understand what the main conflict is… I guess the girl wants to be in love but… she doesn't have a boyfriend? Was that it? Also, a lot of sub plots are resolved from one episode to another, so there's no chance to feel any kind of tension. Anyway, I hope season 2 is better

I love all of the diversity in the series and the absence of minority stereotypes. The writing is brilliant. But the icing on the cake is Isis King’s portrayal of a trans character. We need more shows like this Amazon! This is the real America becoming what America always should have been: great. Give this more marketing funding, Amazon!
