He guys, today I’m finally answering the question of Why I always start in Adobe Xd with a web design project before I even touch WordPress or Elementor. This has everything to do with your design process and will actually make your workflow faster (even though it doesn’t feel like that).

In addition, this tutorial shall give examples of other design tools to use like Sketch and Figma as well as those not to use like Photoshop since it is slow. In this video, you will see examples of how fast it is to design a website in Adobe Xd than it is in Elementor demonstrating the advantages of starting in Adobe Xd as compared to starting in Elementor. The video also explains the four steps included in a professional designing displaying the features that Adobe Xd has and Elementor doesn’t.

  1. hello! quick questions do you recommend elementor and other additional plugins to create a website or to you think Yotako is a better solution nowadays? Thank you for your response 🙂

  2. I'm not a designer, developer, or anything but I do have an Elementor website. Anyway, since you have released a video titled, "I’m moving away from Adobe Xd to Figma" might it be better to delete this video?

  3. I thought that when you design using adobe xd, then on elementor you just need to look at you design and get size, padding and everything from your design…but seems like after that you should guest size on elementor and visually try to have something that look like your own design…if this is the case i prefere to design directly on elementor using global parameters…

  4. My problem is that if i design it first outside of elementor, Im afraid that I'll create a look or element that I cant actually create once I get into Elementor, then Im in trouble because the client is already sold on it and signed off?!

  5. Hello Hello,

thank you for the amazing contents, am new here and i am really enjoying the content you making.

i want your advice on the following:

    1. I need to have data entry for multiple CV's on the website where i can add the following info:

name, location, study, experience, summary and etc … With upload cv button.

    2. Then i need a search bar to search for a name or study for example, and get the results that can be printed in a good summary report.

    3. i am thinking of showing the results into a table, ifound a plugin to show the CPT in a table, but still dont know how to make all those together, i need your pro advice

    thanks a lot 🙂

  6. Me who have been designing website since 2005. still using photoshop.
there has been a lot that I heard for 15+yrs Adobe XD was released, Figma, elementor, Wix and all I say is…
"Meh". I'm sticking to photoshop coz photoshop is like a part of my limb I know all the shortcuts and all, and easily edit photos while making the website.

and yes I believe these new apps that was release this past 15yrs such as XD, figma, elementor, wix etc etc etc… are targeting the younger web designers.
the New generation of web designer. me who are old.. is stuck with photoshop. photoshop actually tried to be like figma by launching the new feature called "Artboard". but it's laggy.. it feels like it is eating too much resources.

If I have time, I might probably try to learn newer software to catch up with the young people haha

  7. Nice content, thanks. I'm starting on building a website for my company on WordPress, which I'm new to. How can I decide on the UI components / elements to choose from? For example, when I was designing for project built on Material Design, the angular material website contains all the components used. So my decision was made easy on knowing the components upfront. Please need help on this.

  8. The BIGGEST reason not to design in Elementor it: It trains your brain to limit designs to the default widget styles. For example: It's easier to just slap a default testimonial section on a page than figure out how to create a unique testimonials layout that might bleed off the page and require a remote carousel. When you work in Figma, you can do whatever you want with ease and worry abou that later when your brain is in "development mode".

  9. Yeah I totally agree with you, in order that I insisted a lot to my boss that I have to design with XD first. But it takes my lifelong time to convince him! I wish I'd seen this video before then I could send it to him!
