I don't think people really use freehand that much but I was really interested if they had finally introduced a true circle for SketchUp.But selection through a section plane and search toolbar are really good additions,again thanks for the insight Justin

i hate sketchup 2022, I stick to my 2021, it's very confusing now, they remove the object face clipping in parallel projection, I'm searching everywhere how to clip, but they remove it, I tried everything to find it anywhere in the settings, i even try your instructions with the "camera" pointing it everywhere in the object to clip it but still not working with parallel projection, they even remove the advanced camera, now in 2022 they prioritized the beginner, so SketchUp 2022 is better for them not me, clipping inside the face of the object is very important to my project.

Hello! how do you get the axes tool and front back, etc tools to show up on your tool bar?

Something that I think is very simple and I'd love to see is an option for Consistent Colors as a Face Style. I know that I can do it with the shadow settings, but this messes up my shadow settings and I don't want to save Scenes and update them everytime I adjust the shadows.

Why is there no repair sketchup for 2021, my files are only the icons is showup, not the thumbnails

Hello, I love your tutorial videos, I have not been able to find any instructions on how use Sketchup to design the carved top on a Les Paul or an ES 335. I can Design the body and many other aspects, But the Carved top has me stumped. consider making a video on that or point me in the direction of the one you have done already, Thanks, keep up your great videos,

Anyone notice view updates in Layout don't always work in SU 22? Sometimes I have to reload the plan view to update it. Reposition it, re-scale it, move to just the right spot. Really bad. SU 2022 sucks….

I've just got SU 2022pro and deleted older version. Now I only see icon instead of thumbnails. I searched and tried every way but couldn't solve it. I can't see what is inside folders but just SU icon. Can you please help me? As I said I tried almost everything.

Thank you for this, I did read the notes, but your video is far nicer to absorb. I see a lot of CAD esque tools coming in, which is great news. My workflow is mostly keyboard commands, the same in CAD, I have a feeling that in future issues the shift S will be a dockable feature. Thanks again Justin 👍

After all these years, Trimble still can't come up with how to switch between section plane easily. If they can made a tray for scenes, how hard is it just make a tray for section plane.

Nice, but… Still can't import .pdf files in windows version. This keeps me from migrating completely from AutoCAD.

Imagine having a user base so large that you can ignore them and add features like a page count to layout……

every year their updates are becomming more useless. All i want is more capability in handling more polygons. Their not taking advantages much on the latest graphics card and CPU.

I just checked out you video on New Features in SketchUp 2022 and in the Scene Search Tool, it works for me, but the magnifying glass is missing from the Search Button. Can this be fixed?

I don't find these changes all that much useful for my workflow, but I guess time will tell. I'd really love if they could make the bucket tool to ignore groups and paint straight to the surfaces maybe when pressing shift. It would also be incredibly interesting if they could make negative objects that cut holes, but I get that the last one would be very challenging.
