Welcome to this ProfileTree video!
In this video, we are going to cover the web development process to provide you with the information you need to know about growing a presence online with a business website.

The process of creating a website is a combination of technical tasks and creative decision-making. Here is a simplified overview:

Goal Identification and Scope Definition: In this stage, the purpose, aim, and target audience for the website are determined. The specific functionalities and features that the website should have are also outlined.

Sitemap and Wireframe Creation: A sitemap is a model of a website’s content designed to help both users and search engines navigate the site. Wireframing is the process of creating a detailed view of the site’s structure, which can also include the user interface and navigation systems.

Content Creation: This phase includes creating compelling and valuable text, photos, videos or other content that will appear on your site. This content should be tailored to your target audience, and optimized for search engines.

Visual Design: This is where the brand identity comes into play. Designers will create a look and feel for the website that aligns with your brand, using colors, images, typography, and layout.

Coding: Once the design is finalized, the website can be created. Developers will use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and possibly other languages to bring the design to life. The front-end of the website (what users see) and the back-end (how the site functions) are developed during this stage.

Testing: Before the site is launched, it will be placed on a production server where all links and functionality can be tested. Usability tests are crucial in this stage, as they help find user interface problems before the site goes live.

Launch: Once everything has been tested, and it works correctly, the website can be launched. This usually involves both technical procedures and a marketing launch strategy.

Maintenance and Regular Updating: After launch, the work isn’t over. Regular updates, new content, and ongoing SEO are part of the maintenance needed to keep a site current and secure.

Remember, this is a simplified overview, and actual web development processes may involve additional steps depending on the complexity of the project, including multiple rounds of testing and revisions, and the specific methodologies employed by your web development team.
