In this video I will give tips on how to design websites for people who are not very creative or artistic at making web designs. People who are more technically gifted might need some types of design rules to follow in order to make good designs.
This is what I will try to accomplish in this video by showing the thought process that goes behind creating simple design elements on a website. We often don’t have “bad ideas” when we make designs, but we do sometimes neglect basic design principles which worsens our designs.

This video would have been improved had it indicated the general rules upfront at the start of the video. As it was made, the video seems very disorganized and ad hoc, kind of like "what will I talk about next?" Decent video, but not well put together.
I learned php oop from you and ready to learn
adobe xd.thank you
Have you tried Siteupp?
"Black is a very strong color for people looking at background color"
says a man in a completely black box đ
You think you're all about the rules when in reality you just messed up every single form of alignment in this layout. Also, how can you teach people about principles of design when you don't know how a serif font is called? Thanks for 40 minutes of frustration.
Superb tutorial. Thank you.
XD
I very much appreciate your videos sir đ also, your english is too good and clear.
Great video! The first time I enjoyed a 40 minute tutorial video. Very informative and straighforward. Thanks a lot! I'm a software engineer for 4 years and I wanted to learn more about web design. This is a very nice tutorial!!
One Word : PERFECT .
I'm french and yet it is absolutly not an obstacle to understand ur point and ur habits when it comes to explain to a "customer" What u need for ur website and the proper look that it needs. Clearly One of the best video to introduce the job.
After web design how will you create to the website?
Xd
I'm running windows 8.1, Adobe XD only works on Windows 10 machines, what software can I use instead?
i have an issue when exporting the websites its either too big for the screen or too small, can you please help me to know if im doing something wrong?
Why does no one use Unsplash for stock photography? It's CC0 License … you can use them for personal and commercial use.
They are stunning and not the usual crap you find on places like Pexels!!
Where is the 12 Line Grid, or Squarespace Rule? that's the first step to design your content within the guide.
Playback speed set to 1.75, it will reduce some pain.
Great Videos I got an internship after watching php tutorials.
Thank you;
Jeez get on with it, first 3 minutes is just waffle !! stop wandering off topic, couldnt stand it any more gave up at 7 minutes.
I think that all people can think creatively, just everyone should open it for themselves. Recently I read an excellent post on this topic, https://writeabout.tech/design/5-key-web-design-principles/. I think someone this information will be extremely useful, in particular for beginners.
Wish I had discovered this channel before,.I could have been a lot better than I am right now.
As a corporate developer for internal applications, design creativity in is not a best friend of mine. I have to stick to the company policy and templated corporate layouts.
Explained so well, thanks
skipped the part where the vertical line under the video is made. could not stop wanting to click on the screen to make the blue selection go away and the white line appear. only realised the actual color is blue at the end. smooth video man!
