  1. I'm very pleased to have found your channel, Jamie. You're a treasure trove of helpful information. Question: Any idea how to handle the migration of shortcodes proprietary to a legacy theme (in my case, FocusBlog by Thrive Themes) to a modern theme, many of which don't use shortcodes at all? I've made 850+ blog posts in FocusBlog using 1,000+ iterations of various shortcodes. Too many to manually do over in a new theme.

  2. Hello Jamie. Did you tested the Neve FSE Theme and the Riverbank Theme? If not maybe have a look at this two and please let me know what do you think about this two. Thanks. And a very informative Video. Thanks for this.

  3. Is it possible to access blocks from two different themes, please? I'm guessing that there will soon be a market for bundles of different blocks, without the theme part. eg: Could I buy just the blocks seen on the ollie theme?

(I have the Spectra One theme loaded and elementor pro product.)

  4. Hi Jamie, quick idea. Compare 3 classic theme sites to a block theme with exactly the same content loaded and as close as possible layouts and features and then speed test them in web page dev. Just done my own tests and this week move 3 sites across to a block themes simply because speed is everything! Matt

  5. Hi sir, how are you?
I have over 4 years of experience in YouTube thumbnail & Banner design, I have strong skills in each step of Photoshop editing and removing backgrounds.

I will design a Strong Catchy video Thumbnail that will convince viewers to click on your video and boost CTR%.

No matter how good your content quality is, if a person doesn't click on the thumbnail you won't get views.

A good-looking thumbnail is a must! as it gives Professionalism to the channel and can gain people's trust.

Are you need a YouTube Thumbnail design?? I am waiting for your replyโ€ฆ

  6. I have a question: I recently picked a Block Theme (gutenify medical) to use as a template. I would like to change the meta description of the homepage, but I can't because it is probably "hard-coded" into the template. Is there a solution to be able to modify this?

  7. As always another great video! I have a couple of thoughts about Spectra. It looks great but it appears that they want to replace most of the standard Gutenberg blocks with their own versions. They also modify the core code to add additional functionality which will lock users into their platform. What do you think?

  8. I am developer and I rather like coding to page builders but I am starting to like the Gutenberg and block themes more and more for fast simple sites. WordPress is really keeping up with changes on web.

  9. How did I know that the Spectra One theme would be #1.? Fantastic class by the way! If any of you want to learn more about the block themes, it's well worth it. In fact, I kind of feel guilty that it was such a little price for it. (Well not all that guilty, consider me as feeling like I got a bargain.)

  10. Great work, Jamie! Your research is commendable and I really appreciate your efforts. I'm definitely going to benefit from this valuable information. Thank you so much!

  11. Agreed! There really should be a growth in opinionated themes. Thatโ€™s what will keep theme creation an important part of WordPress. Also agree with many of your choices. Frost is a favorite of mine. Upside Down is simple and brilliant. Ollie is a new one I want to explore for the patterns alone. Nice video.
