In this tutorial, you will learn how to make any page layout using the WordPress block builder Gutenberg.

If you are coming from any other page builder such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, etc, this is a must-watch video.

In the video, I said that I would post a link to a video on globally setting the page settings. Here is that video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2KEpE_iH3M

  1. This is a great video thanks, one problem I'm having though is when I switch in the button for inherit width from theme it makes my content contained. My site is set to full width and if I switch this box off or use Gutenberg columns it works fine. Any tips please?

  2. By far, the best simplified explanation of how the block builder works. Finally understand why I could never get it to look the way I wanted like in Elementor. Thanks very much!

  3. Yes! Thank you. I have been trying to learn WP for months and going through different web builders, tutorials, etc. I kept getting more and more confused and trying things, trashing them, starting over. The problem is that I am a graphic designer and artist. I know exactly what I want my page to look like, but not how to get there. I don't want to just change images on a theme. I want MY page, MY way. And just going round and round…

I have done web pages in the past and even learned Dreamweaver once upon a time then built a pretty bad page with Elementor but something about WP was just not clicking… I was getting the icing but not the cake it seemed, so to speak. Not understanding the basic structure. You just gave me the cake – the 3 C's that I needed to understand how to put the whole thing together. That made it all suddenly fall in place. I kept stopping the vid and making notes. I think I can do it this time.

    Thank you!

  4. wow Adam, my man! that was just so simply to understand, you just lighted up my brain with the 3 c's thing and literally i could finish my main page in no time. Thank you so much Sir Adam
