AI is nice for creating pretty images, but can it help you do your actual job as a designer?
In this video I’ll be showing you how I go from creating an Ai generated brief to achieving the vision of that brief using other Ai tools like Midjourny & ChatGPT.

  1. and my teacher was like no of course ai is not gonna replace graphic designer lol even in the starting point of ai you can create that much imagine in the 10 years the growth and their abilities will be exponenetial.

  2. I have to keep reminding myself that AI is here to help my business, not replace it 👊🏻 this video is an awesome example of how to ride this wave and use it to our benefit rather than letting it cripple us. Thanks Ran

  3. I guess it's nice for the asset generation, but a designer could definitely make this wireframe in the same time. It's just a banner with text + cta, and one side by side module. Just use a CMS at that point?

  4. In the near future, a client can generate a full website straight from the brief. No web designer needed. Clients can just subscribe to a Squarespace type of service which has design and hosting built in. If you are a jet ski company you just type in prompts and it crates the site right in front of you. You have unlimited revisions and the design adapts according to customer behaviours.

  5. When you view the upscaled you can click the “view original” link just below the image for much higher resolution or click the upscale button under the main image for high res…

Also in chatgpt you can have a conversation e.g. you do not need to keep repeating the jet ski company… its part of the original conversation.

  6. it's sad that midjourney is not available for free to use, i dont want to pay for it, but just for the purpose of getting a quick mock up for a new website idea it would be great, but you dont do that everyday 10 times, so i dont see the point in paying for it

  7. It’s always about how to use the tools that are given to you 😀 Magic is meant to happen. Thats some awesome interesting content and created a ton of ideas in my head using AI-ded development and design

  8. The problem with this is the first thing I would do as a potential customer at the website is look up the jetski to see how much it costs. But what I would find is that most likely it doesn't exist or doesn't exist in the configuration that Midjourney envisioned. Product images have to be pretty specific. Imagine if even the handle bars are fictitious, I don't think the company would allow an image like that to represent their company. You would need to get a real product that the company offers and inpaint into the image then massage over the flaws. Concept art that doesn't get too specific on products would probably be easier to sell.

  9. the biggest issue with every one of these same "web design" videos is they all make websites for products that aren't even close to existing lol!!! Ok now go tell your client they need a professional photo shot just like this one! lol. Doesn't work like that.

  10. This looks pretty cool and interesting. I really would like to learn to work with AI myself. Is there any way a you can learn to work with such a tool? How do I determine which tools I want and can work with and whether they are suitable for my needs? I also understand that you have to "talk" to these types of tools in a certain way. How do you do that and how do you get the right prompts for the right output?

You could make quite a nice series or course on this. Maybe a nice addition to the Web Design: Becomming a pro course? I think tese kind of tool will be a big thing for designers in the future.
