Today we’re checking out FrontPage 98, a WYSIWYG website creation tool from Microsoft. And we’re gonna use it to make the most ’90s-like website ever! Maybe…

Michael your Homepage is amazing!!! 🤣
I used Frontpage, but my go to was Macromedia Ultradev.
12'11'' I had a seizure… LOL so 90's…
I remember FrontPage, but I think what I've used more in the '90s was Macromedia DreamWeaver. That was awesome for the time. But both generated very bloated code.
I'm watching this thinking it would be a great idea to have this throwback for my resume/blog as an IT person. Nostalgia
I used to make my own web homepages on matmice then eventually freewebs
One day will have video about current technologies
I used frontpage in the past. It is simple
Far simpler times than today's mess stacks.
Microsoft should've kept developing FrontPage.
The long sideways scroll brings back some unwelcome memories!!
I had forgotten `<marquee>` existed, thank you for that…. 😀
You had to put just a dancing Jesus gif in there and the website was ready.
I still remember learning HTML at 9 years old! I’m 36 now and simple coding is kinda worthless now, but it makes up for good times with my older sister back then.
Michael, it's not JIF, but GIF. Graphics Interchange Format – you're not pronouncing graphics as "jraphics" – so it's gif – not "jif" 😉
"which is every good web designer" , you're welcome.
We need java applets and qt player 😂
My neighbor (73 years old) just asked me to check his pc, something wasn't working right. I do help him once in a while with his tech, but this time it was Winamp. He said it's not working properly and he wants it to work on his windows 10 pc 😂. So it crashed when tried to open m4a files but it still worked fine. The fact that he still used it with not scaled properly interface of Winamp was crazy. Imagine a close button 5×5 pixels size on a 4k monitor. 😂 Sadly for him it could not scale because he didn't like skins, so I found another player that was new but with Winamp classic skin on it
You forgot the Page View Counter!
I learned HTML using FrontPage back then 💯🤣
That site is going to take FOREVER to download on dial up
I build my first website with Microsoft Publisher 😂
Weaving dreams
My 486 won’t run this web site (yes, with space!😂)
