  1. Great tutorial for begginers as myself! I do worry about updating though. If I make a child theme and the parent theme upgrades, will those changes be carried to the child theme? Is there a manual process?

  2. How do i correctly add a canonical tag to the html code on a wordpress post? I tried utilizing yoast seo to fix some duplicate canonical errors but they still seem to be showing up, so thought maybe id have to go to the source or put it in the html. Thanks
