Anyone done any tests on how much this plugin slows the already very fast theme down? i see the plugin is 1.08 meg compressed and 3.30 MB uncompressed. i am a bit concerned why this is actually bigger than the 2017 theme and what speed or bloat it adds. any info?

when you switch to 'boxed' layout it would make more sense to demo working with resized images/videos for the homepage…wouldn't it? That a substantive question that's not addressed in your tutorial….where you seem to be obsessed with the background and not with the content.
Do you know a WP theme that DOESN'T contain where I can easily modify/customize using plugis? I have limited knowledge but I need to build a BASIC website. WP 2017 has the imbedded images and the 4 parts to the home page I can't get rid of. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

so undoing this site and using WP for first time- in my download there isn't a theme options tag in my customize area… how did i miss that? any ideas where i should go look besides the door i was hiding behind when they handed out…….
