Then we will install WordPress. WordPress is the most powerful website builder on the web. It powers more than 43% of all websites on the internet. And it is free!

Then we will create this website from scratch using a free WordPress theme and a free page builder called Elementor. We will not just build a website. No, I will also talk about branding and choosing the right colors for your website. I will show you which fonts to use and how to create or outsource a logo.

Elementor is a fantastic free page builder that enables you to create your pages using a simple drag-and-drop method. Using the Elementor Flexbox Container, it is easy to build your website. And if you want to change something? Just click, and change the content. That is how easy it is.

We will use global branding colors on our website, so if you want to change colors, they will change on the whole website. So with a few clicks, you can change the look and feel of your website.

With the header, you can create something like this, but also like this, or this. You can make your whole header sticky or just a part of it. And you can make parts of your header transparent like this or this. And when you scroll, you can add a different logo. And it is all really simple to set it up like this.

I will also show you how to create all these pages from scratch. This is what my homepage looks like, but with the skills I teach you in this tutorial, you can also make a homepage like this, or this, or this.

And, of course, the website we will make will be optimized for all devices. Desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

    I have a question. I'm building a wordpress website at the moment but i'm have a problem. When I edit in wordpress the 'mobile mode' I dont see that exactly view on mine own Phone. The same happens on 'tablet mode' when i edit here and then I will look on mine own tablet thats note the same.

    Can u help me with that?

  5. hey fery, just built my first good looking website using ur tutorial, but i still got 1 question. Is there a way to change the motion effect from device to device? Since i want the 3 features to appear after each other, which works completly fine, but when i do it on my smartphone everything loads and animates and the minute i scroll down the 2. feature takes another 2,3secs to arrive..   13. Quick question to avoid problems why don't you name the 1st main container Header and keep it the same size as the header and then call the second main container Hero which would sit directly under the container called header.

    you have done amazing explaining all this and I have build it step by step. however I have an issue, that I hope you can help with. the sticky menu option is not pressable in my case so I can not make it sticky as you did. I am using same theme. I also have an issue connecting the socials to whats-app and wechat. I puth the phone number in the required filed and it can not connect. what am I supposed to do to connect the socials to my whatsapp and wechat?
    pls help

    het voelt als webdesign met de handen op de rug gebonden 🙂
    hopelijk veranderd dat gevoel snel , maar het voelt als een beperking , al is het het niet compleet , maar ergens toch wel .
    maar van code naar cms geeft blijkbaar dat gevoel .
    ik vraag me af of jij het omgekeerde voelt , als je van een cms naar code gaat .
