Google Sites Tutorials – Page Layout, Pictures, Animations

Hello Kyle, excellent stuff which I am finding very useful. Many thanks. I see you have quite a number of videos. Please could you direct me to the particular video, if you you have done one that is, on how you did the title, the background image and the horizontal tool bar?

You should always copy and paste your text content into NOTEPAD first to clear any formatting, because if you look at your HTML editor in the WYSWIG you will see massive amounts of unnecessary code clogging up your HTML.

Man I need some help today would be good its for an assignment due today I need to know how to set different background images on google sites, when I set one it sets it for all the pages, I need different background images on different pages on my site…. Please help!

@kirksvillewebdesign Tks Kyle! I have another similar questoin, i now placed my language option links at the bottom of each page. however, i realized that there isnt a better way to have the nav bar to also change language unless i create a new set of website in the other language, rite?

@chriswat77 The only links or image links you can place in the header area are the logo and horizontal nav. So unless you do your header and nav as custom within the content, there's no other way.

Sometimes ppl place different languages links to the top right corner of their website, is it possible if we can also do that under google sites? I believe it will be in the same area as the header but aligned to the bottom right… Can that be done?
