Evolution of computer 1822-2022

• First computer Deference engine was made by Charles babbage. He is also called father of computer.

•The first modern computer was created in the 1930s and was called the Z1, which was followed by large machinery that took up entire rooms. In the ’60s, computers evolved from professional use to personal use, as the first personal computer was introduced to the public.

•ENIAC was the first programmable, electronic, general-purpose digital computer, completed in 1945. There were other computers that had these features, but the ENIAC had all of them in one package. It was Turing-complete and able to solve “a large class of numerical problems” through reprogramming.

•The JOHNNIAC was an early computer built by the RAND Corporation (not Remington Rand, maker of the contemporaneous UNIVAC I computer) and based on the von Neumann architecture that had been pioneered on the IAS machine. It was named in honor of von Neumann, short for John von Neumann Numerical Integrator and Automatic Computer.[1] JOHNNIAC is arguably the longest operational early computer, being used almost continuously from 1953[2] for over 13 years before finally being shut down on February 11, 1966, logging over 50,000 operating hours.

•The Olivetti Programma 101, also known as Perottina or P101, is one of the first “all in one” commercial desktop programmable calculators, although not the first.
The Xerox Alto is a computer designed from its inception to support an operating system based on a graphical user interface, later using the desktop metaphor. The first machines were introduced on 1 March 1973, a decade before mass-market GUI machines became available.

•The Mac is a family of personal computers designed and built by Apple. Macs are known for their ease of use and distinctive aluminium, minimalist design, and are
(Late 2007).

•Fugaku is a petascale supercomputer at the Riken Center for Computational Science in Kobe, Japan. It started development in 2014 as the successor to the K computer and made its debut in 2020. It is named after an alternative name for Mount Fuji.
