  1. I am using Known host. When I tried to install Elementor on WordPress it tried to sell me a $54/mo service. How do I install the basic (not pro) Elementor plugin so I can build my wordpress website?

  2. This is an amazing tutorial, thank you so much. One question, how do I customize the footer? I can't seem to find info on it. Would you point me in the right direction, please? Thank you so much!!

  3. I used bluehost also your link to get the plan, however i am having an error when i log into wordpress in the bluehost home site. It says bad gateway error. What do i do with this?

  4. You have a wonderful ability to teach in a straightforward easily digestible manner. Many thank yous Mr. Wes!!! I'm so grateful to have found this video after (painfully) watching dozens of other tutorials that were not of this easy to follow.

  5. LE: Problem solved! I'll come back with the result 🙂

Hi there! I have installed the plug in which is such a great tool… but in my case the template doesn't work. I don't know what I did and how to undo it. Do you have any idea why the template is not installing properly? Thank a lot!

  6. Hi Wes, once I’ve selected the template it doesn’t give me the option to ‘create complete site’. I get a sidebar that says ‘Selected Template” at the top followed by ‘Logo’ – ‘Upload file’. Please help

  7. I am a newbie on website creation. Too much going on. I have WP 6.1 and latest Elementor Pro. I have chosen Astra (paid) Theme. I am also running WP local on my Win11 PC. I am getting confused. Seems Gutenberg wants to be the editor, not Elementor. And which template kit get chosen.

  8. When I activated starter templates, I was taken to a full page of templates – not the option to click on Elementor – and my dashboard options had disappeared. Therefore I am unable to select the template. I'm confused as I followed everything as outlined on the video. Any ideas?

  9. Brilliant introduction – thanks.
your videos are a great resource.
You provide an in-depth and crystal clear walkthrough of very important topics.

Would you do some vids about the new Version 6.1

  10. Thanks for the tutorial – it was helpful but I ended up driving myself mad with the header/footer. I ended up needing to work off another template and could not remove the header and footer from that Outdoor Adventure template. Even if they aren't showing in the Elementor editor they would show up(and clash) with the actual site I had donewhen previewed. I tried reverting to first backup (as advised by Elementor) and sent all pages to trash and started again. I even deleted Starter Templates and they're still there. I am a newbie but even Elementor support couldn't fix it. In the end I went into Settings and went to Page Layout ->Elementor Canvas which seems to have solved the issue and removed header/footer but I would be curious to find out why as I've spent a whole day trying to undo it and had to scrap all my work. It even changes the name up top left in your WordPress account to Outdoor Adventure so it's pretty invasive in that way. EDIT: I eventually figured out that it was impossible to fix inside Elementor and that Starter Templates had made it hold within Customisation settings in the WP Dashboard! Steep learning curve!
