I applaud the team over at Elementor for this new effort. I’m a huge fan of creating opportunity for WordPress professionals and I hope they really put their marketing weight behind this.

  1. I was talking about this just the other day. I'm with you totally on its a great move for elementor, and a great gesture for its pro license holders (which isn't the same as a professional of course). Also, imo elementor will acquire some kind of seo and or ecommerce business to help complete the Elementor can do everything ambition.
The one criticism I have of the new marketplace is one that may be fixable, but I compare it to the Genesis equivalent where (and I might be mistaken) but I got the impression that those people listed there were leaders in their field. To become an elementor pro expert, it's less than $100 and half that at black Friday probably. So it's not a criticism of the idea, I would just love to see something proving thr credentials in order to get on the list. To be a certified Facebook, Google etc pro you have to invest in and pass an examination process. This means they don't have to hand pick like genesis, but they have a self validating process for pros, and to be a pro certified comes with actual kudos vs elementors already huge directory. Can be fixed with some kind of certification or top gun type approach. Known what I'm saying? They are smart people though zno doubt they'll come good on this.

  2. We've had the LifterLMS experts program up for several years: https://lifterlms.com/experts/ The challenge with an experts program is the brand risk. If the clients end up having a bad experience with the expert blue collar digital worker, it negatively effects the brand of the promoter. There's only so much you can vet and control in an experts program. It's a little wild west. But as a company that values community above all else, we pulled the trigger and ride the bullet. For us at LifterLMS, it's worth the risk. 9 times out of 10 everyone wins.
