To succeed in web design, and with Webflow, it’s vital that you understand how elements hierarchy affects styling and sizing. In this video, we’ll cover element hierarchy in three ways:

1. How objects nest inside one another (e.g., parents, children, siblings)
2. How text styling is passed down from parent to child
3. How the sizes of parent elements and child elements affect one another

Steps in the video:
00:00 – Introduction
00:27 – Nesting
02:00 – Text styling
02:58 – Sizing

  1. 1 question. I am able to design my ecommerce website using this designer but using my own name domain and not a subdomain from your site.. i can using wix services for that.. and that is my main reason if i will use your services or not.. no matter how hightech they are. I saw you have some options that i'm able to use, like some 3rd party ecommerce platforms linked with your services.. but that is not my concern. My concern is if i can build "my brand" using your services but using my own domain name ? Subdomain names are not for me and i bet is not for others to.. see the Wix services. Tottaly not for a brand bussiness at all. Just some thoughts.

  2. "Heirarchy is one of those funny words that came from the Germans … literally translated from 15th Century text it means: 'Website Levels' " This is quite possibly the funniest line EVER recorded in a software product demo !
