Hi! I have inherited some responsibility for my company's website. No one is left on staff that was here when the website was developed with WordPress. I have to update the logo within the "wrapper" that affects all our pages. BUT no one seems to know how, not even our WordPress support. Does your tutorial help with this? Thanks for your time… here in Sept. 2018!
Not for nothing, but this is a terrible way to customize your theme. If you directly edit the installed theme files, your edits will be lost the next time the theme is updated. Create a child theme instead and put all of your customizations there.
Instructive and helpful.
watched all 3 parts and loved it. however, could you show how to get the theme from WP into an editor and then back into WP.
Sir, im from India. Plzz try to upload new video
Just finished watching your 3 youtubes exactly 5 years after you published this tutorial. Learned a lot. Thanks.
I wish I would have found this 5 years ago!
5 years was a long time ago!
I have found this to be an excellent tutorial, really opens up (for a non coder) how to change things which are fundamental without going back to school learning php, HTML all over. Nice one!

If we have a custom theme that we purchased (in this case PiggyBack Pro from BrandCo) and we have multiple themes in our themes folder, how do I know which is the active theme to change?
Whats the backup choice, if I dont have Dreamweaver?
What if I don't have Dreamweaver? Can I edit these files through the dashboard in WordPress…?
Great Tutorial, but you should recommend that people should create a backup of any file before they modify it. ie copy header.php to header.php.bak
This was what I was missing. Thank you very very much. I've been digging technical aspects like php stuff, but after all this was exactly what I needed. Subscribed !!
