  1. This is pretty awesome. I’m going to try to convince my company to use Thrive. I have a question, though. Near the end when you recreated they bottom section with the background image, you had a parallax effect to implement, but unless I missed it (I rewound to see if I did) I didn’t see you do anything in Thrive to achieve that. So how were you able to do that?

  2. Hi!
In July this year, I started a company (humanitarian) and began building its website (WordPress). Having no background in web design, the job soon became too advanced for me. As I have no saved money and not yet any clients (income), I have saught volunteer help from web designers. They have helped to a certain extent, but don't have enough time on their hands to finish the rest (which is totally understandable, as they have their own full-time jobs to maintain). I am now, humbly, looking for a web designer with a lot of extra time and who would happily work on my website, either to support our humanitarian agenda, or for the sake of the experience, or simply for adding to the CV/resume. If you are interested, send an email to info@humanexus.org. It would mean so much to me. Thank you.

  3. 15:31 – If anyone is wondering how the bottom background section didn't cover the one above, it's that Advanced "Z-index" set to 3 that does the trick. Took me a long time to figure it out. Hope I save someone's time.

  4. What a great tutorial. Thanks. Learned a lot. But could you please explain how you link the menue text to the different other sites named in the menue? Would really appreciate that. Thanks.

  5. Absolutely GREAT – The speed of course its fast – but I stoped it took elements out in a Word Sheet to explain for myself the steps and like this I have now a almost 40 page step by step tutorial for myself to read and study it later again. Its absolutely amazing to see how fast and easy it can go IF as soon as I understand, I can handle the tool really. But that is all about. It took me really quit a while till a was able to workaround myself with dreamweaver and HTML compared to this …. Architecet is as beeing in holidays. The workflow reminds me a bit to indesign where I work also a lot… so all together
Im absolutely just impressed and happy to start. But first… thats me, I study all your Videos specially in your academy which is also just a thumb up !!!

  6. Can you please tell how to delete tabs in the tab module? I would like to create a 2 tabs box.

Also wanted to mention I really like the product, I feel after a couple of days I could get the hang of it but still there are so many great options just by combining techniques.

  7. I've been using X and cornerstone. This looks like a smoother version of CS. I am keen to start using Thrive.
Does this come in a bundle with a theme or is it a standalone plugin?

  8. Thanks, this looks great. I've been looking at Elementor recently but after watching this I think I'll be looking closely at Thrive themes as well as my TemplateMonster affilitation.

  9. Assuming I knew what to design, this tool clearly has a broad range of capabilities. I really needed a "repeat" button though, because you went through this awfully fast for a newbie. Some of the fundamental things at the very beginning could have been better explained. Like:

How do I save color for re-use? I am guessing there was a secret key combination to save it.
Where do I get the font-examination tool ?
Is there a more basic training video that I missed ?

  10. I'm completely new to thrive architect so my head is spinning a little bit. I would like to see shorter trainings on the individual elements but seeing a complete build was very useful. Excellent Training.

  11. Sooo informative, great teaching style, as usual. Would love to see other blog pages built out, as well. Need to understand more about obscure little features like "z-index", "float", "absolute", etc. Love these videos, long or short, keep them coming!

  12. Your plugin looks well structured compared to a few out there, however, it will be great to know if one is able to redesign 'other' pages of the WP site as well, not just the landing page?
Also a demo/free trial option will be much appriciated. Great job !
