  1. Since the inception of my website design business I won't even provide a proposal/quote to a prospect until they've completed and submitted such a questionnaire. How deeply they answer questions and how much info they provide gives me a pretty good idea of just how self-aware they are about their business and how and who it serves. This gives me a heads-up of just how much work I'm going to be doing writing the base content of their website. If someone won't bother with the questionnaire or gives superfluous responses I run the other way. I also use their responses in my proposal. For example, I ask them for adjectives and phrases to describe their new website and then use those exact words to describe what I'm going to deliver. In the end, you're far more "in tune" with your client's expectations if you've got one of these to refer to.

  2. I did buy the docs for this. Put together very well. I run all sites on a subscription model, so some of isn't for me at least not word for word but I can surely grab bits and pieces of it. Helps give me a good start.

  3. The "Target Audience" part always seems the get a shrug from a lot of small business. They basically want give very vague answers. Example, a winery might answer "People who drink wine" Hard to really get them to go deeper

  4. Hi Paul – I've spent most of the last few days binging on your videos – awesome stuff!. I'm building a dynamic listing website and based on your earlier jet engine series and property masterclass (from about 18 months ago) I started using Elementor and Jet Engine. However having watched some of your more recent stuff I'm wondering if that's still the right choice to be starting with on a new WP site now…. I want to end up with a fast site, so I guess my my question is, if you were to make a dynamic listing site like that today, what would you use now? Still Jet Engine? Or maybe ACF Pro or perhaps CubeWP? I'm guessing not Elementor any more but maybe Bricks or Generate instead? Would love to know your take on it now. Thanks so much for your incredibly helpful and informative tutorials!

  5. Hi, great video again, and vital information to new freelancers and businesses.
I was wondering, do you have videos on a missing part of the whole process for me, which is actually finding the clients in the first place?
I give up with places like Fiverr and Upwork, they are good to get some experience, but I don't think they are good for business or the industry overall.
