Three…two…one…liftoff!
Cal State LA’s College of Engineering, Computer Science and Technology launched its two-day “LAunchPad Summer Program,” for girls from 23 local high schools on Thursday, July 21.
The goal: Increase the number of girls pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Students launched mini water rockets and engaged in other science activities while exploring aerospace engineering and other areas of STEM expertise.
