  2. Just FYI to people watching this video – outbound and inbound are both extremely difficult to gain traction on unless you niche down in a big way. You can't even gain any traction on the social media platforms in 2022 without tons of ad spend anymore, and every time somebody posts online about needing a website, 50 people from India and wherever else bombard them with messages and drown out legit agencies.

    My recommendation to people just getting started for stuff like web design or marketing is to zero in on specific industries and focus your content and outreach on just them. If your going to cold call anyone, call someone with a message catered specifically to what you know about them. The whole generalized approach to agency building, whether for websites or anything else….to me it just seems like a non-starter. There's no magic bullet to get people begging you to spend 3k on a website. You gotta demonstrate serious expertise or create scarcity to even have a shot at not going broke in this business.

  4. Ive watched a few videos and really loving this content! Can I ask if you previously, or do you currently advertise anywhere to gain business, or have you always managed to get enough business though outbound cold emails/ calls and providing value on social channels to get the inbound leads?
