  1. I have both her course and web dev course from Colt Steele. To be honest Angela's course is great, however, she does cut off some basics on the earlier stage of HTML and CSS. For example, earlier on you spent time learning about tables and floats, which is hardly being used now. But she didn't touch about CSS flex-box or CSS grid. Later when you jumped in framework such as Bootstrap, it was a bit fast, and I'm not against using frameworks, but you really need to have a strong understanding about how HTML and CSS works first, and then you can use frameworks to work faster (if you need it and don't mind the design it gives you).
Although I like Angela's approach with doing hands on basic HTML page earlier on later too.
I decided to go for Colt Steele course which he explains more in details too. Another good course (you can see his video here in YouTube) is by Brad Schiffs. Both are fantastic teachers, both tell you why they're doing while coding, and teaching you to understand things in a deeper level.

This is just my personal opinion, I currently use Angela's course as a complimentary course to get a second explanation if I don't understand some things. But if you need only one or have budget for one course only, go for Colt Steele's.

  2. I'm taking the course with Dr.Angela on Udemy. The course really great. Even though I use English as my second language and I have a hard time to speak read and write, but she make the course easy to follow with clear explanation. Just my opinion She is a the best professor for all developers. I highly recommended her course to everyone.

  3. Even an experienced developer in a specific field is a beginner in another field so the best thing that Angela is doing is that she focuses on clear and simple explanation with little samples to let us grasp the principal of the course. In a word she is the best teacher out there.

  4. Such Gold Digger Who Would Pay For Education
Now Hackers Exist Because Of Company Or Someone Like You Who Ask For Money For Simple Stuff
if i have the money i would buy your course and leak it over dark web or even make clouds upload at over 20 website
so people get the course for free

    #Free_Dom_For_Internet
    #Watch_Gold_Diggers
Edit : i just notice that your main language is not English how would people understand that accent !??

  5. I stopped Angela course when I finished frontend sadly.
Actually she is the best teacher I ever met in my entire life.
She doesn't give you just the content, also she teach you how to walk and tell you how to run the field.
I tried to learn from other tutorials.
But in the end as she promised, the only course you will need to start and learn.
    ……
And probably the true tressure is in the first section where she tell us programming is not easy and we need to practice.
And provide tips to how to learn and how to be patient.
    ….
I truly admire how she worked on the course.
And as for the content she dive into the tinest and accurate details.
    And that's great for anyone

  6. I don't know how I got here, but I know two things:
    1. I want to marry this youtuber, I mean for real, isn't she insanely gorgeous and seems to be such a beautiful person?
    2. prior to taking her web development course in Udemy, I started two other web development courses from Colt Steele and from Andrei Neagoie, who are both one of the greatest instructors in Udemy and I love them both a lot, just so you understand Colt Steele has the most successful course in Web Development of all Udemy, which I believe is a combination of quality, but also of starting first than Angela and Neagoie. I didn't see through Colt's course because there were some things I didn't like in how he explained some things especially in the Bootstrap section where I felt I would be useless in programming. I also left Andrei's course on the subject because I got sort of turned off after the CSS module If I remember well.
But Angela is the real deal, there's not a single programmer on Udemy explaining things better and as simple as Angela, but it is not just that the concepts are way better explained than everybody else, but also that she shows in every lesson that she really cares about you, she even worries for things nobody else does or mentioned in their tutorials like you feeling discouraged about not being able to grasp something, or you thinking you would fail, or you being overwhelmed with a particular lesson that is really packed with new things and problems. I mean, you can actually second this comment if you buy the course and see the tips she gives you at the end of every module where more than tips she gives you a lot of encouragement… I mean, who does that? She's great detailed on every of the lessons, and she has projects that are a dime a dozen, but also some pretty good ones, especially in the React.js module. And talking about React.js… well… she has a module of 9 hours dedicated to React, more than any other Web Development course everywhere on the internet (unless is a course ONLY dedicated to react, of course -_-), I mean, who does that? NOBODY. Courses out there on any website oriented to teaching programming covers React maybe in 2+h, and the longest I've seen has been 4h.
Finally, if someone ever reads this comment 'till the end and you're interested in making some courses in Udemy, I have some recommendations for instructors and courses, although these are based on my experience and point of view, you may find another instructor to be better:

    1. Data Structures and Algorithms: Colt Steele on Udemy, or you can enroll on the Princenton University Algorithms courses hosted on Coursera, there's a part I taught by Kevin Wayne and a part II taught by Robert Sedgewick

    2. HTML and CSS
: Brad Traversy. That's it. Another good option is Dev ed. And if you want an advanced course on CSS after that, maybe Jonas will give you what you want.

    3. Javascript: for JS I recommend Colt Steele and Stephen Grider course on Udemy. But Also I recommend Anthony Alicea "Understanding the weird parts" for a more deep understanding of JS. Also you could check Brad Traversy 20 vanilla Javascript project so you get more practice after completing Colt and Stephen course. Alicea course is very short, only 11h, but I recommend you also do it, you won't write that much code, it's basically just a talk, almost the entire course so it won't teach to code, it will get you to really understand JS. Andrew Mead or Maximilian would also be great option for JS if you don't want to go with Colt and Stephen.

    4. Node.js: Andrew Mead, Brad Traversy or Stephen Grider are great option. I would go with Andrew and use one of the other two as backup or something. After completing Andrew for a more advanced knowledge of Node, you can definitely go with the Advanced Node course by Stephen Grider.

    5. MongoDB: this is my favorite in the list: You can learn that and reach a high level for free. Going to MongoDB University. That's it, and it's great! 🙂

    6. GraphQL: Andrew Mead or Stephen Grider.

    7. Microservices: Stephen Grider.

    8. Flutter with Dart for Mobile Development: my mother tongue is spanish, there's a guy call Fernando Ferrara, who has like 4 courses on that that sums 80h or so, and he will release an advanced course on flutter this year. You may check if there are subs in English. But for English I would go with anyone between Stephen, Angela Yu, or Maximilian.

    9. React.js: Stephen Grider. If you instead want to learn Vue.js, there's another website I would recommend https://www.vuemastery.com/courses/

    10. Deno: Andrei Neagoie.

    11. Typescript: Stephen Grider.

    12. Socketio: Robert Bunch.

13: PWA: Fernando Ferrara (this is in spanish) or Maximilian.

    14. Swift development for apple: Angela Yu.

    15. Python: If you are interested in Python, I don't have a beginner recomendation for and introductory course. There's Jose Portilla who is the most renowned instructor in Python of all Udemy. You might take his "Go from Zero to Hero" and "Masterclass" courses. Andrei and Colt have a Python course, but all Portilla does is Python, it is like his element, so you may go with him, but for a more Advanced and in-depth course I would recommend the four courses from Fred Baptise, that's just a treasure.

if you also want to learn things like Babel, Webpack or using Pug Templates, don't even pay for a course. You can learn all that here. Colt's has a playlist on Webpack, and Brad has videos on Babel, for Pug, Freecodecamp here on yt.

Last thing that I have to say is that, I don't recommend taking Bootcamps. I recommend more taking separate courses, because yes, you invest more time doing them separately, but you cover more topics and learn more. For example Angela, or Colt, or Andrei or whoever you can mention have "Web Developer Bootcamps", but the amount of JS or Node you will learn from those bootcamps are none compared to the amount of JS or Node, or GraphQL or whatever you can learn if you follow separate courses. But if that's "Complete Web Development bootcamps" is what you like Angela Yu is my Queen.

  7. 2:14 "what annoyed me…she show to you tables for the layout.." – some developers would argue tables have their relevance and I find it too..; 3:10 "she does not explain what backend & front end are in the beginning" – mhhh did you what the bootstrap section fully? She went into elaboration explaining back-end and front end…I also remember a funny picture of mermaid lady on a rock with a monstrous reptilian back illustrating front-end and back-end. At 3:21 you say you prefer a roadmap bcz webdev is not a linear road…true but what is a title of her course? = FULL STACK WEB DEV, she did not have to explicitly lay out for student one or the other road bcz whoever took this course was going to deal with both worlds! There are other courses which other tutors taught front or back..her's was BOTH. at 7:38 No support for Q&A complains…mhh I have asked several qns and they get replied..within 24 hrs I have noticed..maybe there are delays of response you were implying? Actually, for a keen ear in the course and with Angela's techniques on how to google your way to qns in the web and look for your own solutions, hardly can you get stuck before you decide to make a move to Q&A section. Am not affiliated to appbrewery.co nor have I met Angela in person..I just bought her course. Thanx for review.

  8. The CSS section is the best hands down. colt ,andrei or jonas dont even come close. I used to always fear CSS especially things like display and position, but now I feel totally comfortable.

currently in HTML/CSS section hope the remaining sections wil also be great as the first sections

  9. I have been enjoying her class immensely. I do wish I knew the front end and back end earlier.
The thing that gives me anxiety is not knowing if I could impress potential employers when I finish this course. My intention of to apply for web development jobs when I finish all my Udemy courses.

  10. I, as a beginner who is looking to change career paths and has no experience at all like the fact that you are offering to be a mentor. I also wonder if the region that I am from plays a part in what is popular: ie react & ojs etc?
