airpods pro are much better than whatever that is beats.

I prefer the stem on the AirPods, it looks classic and gives room for components such as a large battery. But no stem still would look great. Color wise, for AirPods Pro I would love a black option.

In terms of ergonomics – AirPods 2 is an absolute winner for me (I may stand on my hands or do anything else and they will fit perfectly, but currently I use Pros and they fall off even if I’m just laying in bed on a side of my head 🤡)

These could be UWB (Ultra Wide Band) audio protocol instead of Bluetooth. Apple has been including the UWB1 chip in their iPhones since iPhone 11, so it has mainly been lying in wait. Not only will UWB provide much more bandwidth for Airplay/Airdrop, but it will allow for Lossless audio via these new Airpods Pro 2 earbuds, which is only possible now via a lightning adapter and cable to regular headphones. Bluetooth has reached its end of life due to bandwidth demands of the highest quality audio, video, and other file transfers.

I recently learned more about listening to Apple Lossless and Hi Res Lossless music. Not only does it require the use of an external DAC (Digital to Analog Converter), but also the use of wired headphones, as Bluetooth doesn’t support Hi Res Lossless. So, I’ve decided to spend my money on an external DAC (AudioQuest Dragonfly Cobalt) and am ready to pull the trigger on some high quality wired IEMs (probably the 7 Hz Timeless). I still love the amount of music available on Apple Music, and especially that the higher quality Lossless and Hi Res Lossless is available for no additional charge. But unless the iPhone 14 or new MacBooks incorporate a higher quality DAC, there is no other way to listen to these higher quality music tracks with the device alone.

Sure, after using Bluetooth headphones for many years now, I love the convenience, and the lack of a wire to get in the way. So, I’ll still use a set of Bluetooth headphones for environments like outdoor activities, the gym, etc., and use the external DAC and wired headphones for sitting (work, home), environments where I can also stream the higher resolution tracks without hitting any mobile data plan limits.

Sorry but the AirPods Pro are now better as far as bass and sound with 4C165 update. I had my AirPods Pro’s replaced due to loud audio feedback after having them for 2yrs but when they came back i was amazed at the sound pumping from these things. The ANC is not as aggressive as it once was but sound quality has increased a lot. Quit saying the iPad Pro is limited. This thing is a beast. Get the apps that will give you the workflow you need to take advantage of what the iPad Pro can do. I use an iPad Pro 12.9 with magic keyboard and Apple Pencil and it gets everything done for me.

Status between pro for as low as $89 brand new, soundcore liberty two pro with ldac-also for as long as 89 brand new(if you don't care about noise canceling) liberty pro 3's for $130 or so have noise canceling and kill the airpods in terms of sound quality. Apple is always so late to the game.

I feel like this is a great idea because this will stop that air bubble that slowly pushes out the headphones. they could probably make them use wifi to connect to devices so it can switch between quicker< Mac table, able to carry bigger data, higher transfer rate. with inner mics it could possibly use a sonar like feature to have an ai adjust how it sounds in the ear.

I don’t think they’re going to remove the stem entirely. I’m sure they’ll change it a bit but not that extreme. They would just look like your 8015 standard earbud from Samsung and any other brand on the market. You shouldn’t be so skeptical about the health feature. Of course it’s not gonna be as good as an Apple Watch. What you missed a bit is, only Blood O2 is rumored since it can be measured accurate in the ear. Even hospitals do this…. But at the end there’s no tracking from steps, no clock function, no pulse or EKG, no meditation. This is enough separation I guess ?! But most important, I’m excited !

You didn't talk about Ultra wide Band (UWB) connectivity

When you take an AirPod 3 out of your ear it stops playing. But if you grab the tip it will begin playing again.

I can't believe there are people that solely go out and buy stupid shit and upgrade constantly (no matter how small the upgrade) just for clout. It's so goofy. It's one thing if you're getting a Lambo to show your status. But it's utterly pathetic and laughable when people think buying the latest $200-$300 gadget is something special. LMAO

The Pro 2 will have to have better bandwidth , as their lossless music option will exceed the capabilities of current Bluetooth . Ultra bandwidth is a possibility

This is the one leak I really hope is false

If they take off the stem, what would happen to the microphone? Would it be just as good as the current AirPods? One of the main reason, and most important reason I buy the latest AirPods is because the microphone is so good.

A couple of things I disagree on, colour opinions the max has different colour opinions and are MORE expensive, also the B monogram on the Beats product are the distinguishing product no consumer confusion so I somewhat disagree. Also the stemless design definitely makes sense since Apple changed the regular AirPod product to look like the previous Pro design, no sense in having both look identical

God I hate the earbuds with the silicon tips, they fit awful should just invest more in the normal fitting AirPods
