AI Web Design | Will Web Designers Become Obsolete?

AI will take our socks off regarding design, do you think you and I can generate better web designs, have you seen what it can do, no way in the world we could do better and do it in a matter of minutes. It will be able to analize, what is the trend, what works for every type of company, things we simply cannot do as fast and better than AI. The situation is critical and this is today! just imagin what AI will be able to do in 3 – 4 months from now. We will have clients and we will generate all our designs using this software, so lets get learning how AI works and try to adopt to making better content using AI.

100% AI will be able to build a full featured sites, it's just a matter of if that happens in 2 years or within 5 years. And as a web builder that's painful!! The question is a little like asking if digital photography will effect film photography. It's coming! There will be 10% of websites that will still need the human touch, but for your average doctor, school, ecommerce, etc website… we are toast. You'll submit your doc with all your specific details, give it 5 live sites that you like and 30 seconds later your full functional site will be spit out and ready to use. To think there is any other path forward means you haven't reserached AI enough or you're in denial. It's coming for me, I can feel it breathing down my neck. Sure it will "help" build sites for the next few years right up until the point it consumes the industry. We are the horse and the car is on the horizon… I'm feeling like glue.

While it’s cool I’m concept, it’s not going to replace the traditional designer.

Still hard for AI to interpret human emotion to produce that refined cutting edge design.

I’m, also, convinced that Google will find a way to knock those straight to the bottom of any search results.

Mobile score "pretty respectable" ? 94 you almost not see on most website out there

Not today but the way IT and tech works maybe 3 to 5 years in future

I'm going to say not anytime soon. In fact I asked A.I. today about what jobs it will create instead of replace…here's what it told me as one of the job categories it will be expanding – "Creativity: AI systems can generate new ideas and possibilities, but they are limited in their ability to create truly innovative and novel solutions. Hence, jobs that require a high degree of creativity and imagination will be less likely to be automated." So keep on being creative! They aren't about to replace us for some time! 🙂 Personally I think AI is going to allow creators to serve more and serve them faster. A win for us and our customers.

I'm pretty bad with design. And this thing can generate some ideas and background pictures for me… Interesting.

Oh my, now AI is the same marketing bullshit as blockchain. This kind of services were existing earlier but didn't called them selves "AI"

Web developers have been becoming obsolete for years. Just download a template, change a few pics, add some different copy, and here's your new website mate. René Descartes was right; cogito, ergo sum – I think, therefore I am. Never forget that.

I really don’t think so, most humans just don’t want to do any building themselves (especially older peeps) and also don’t have a design eye to build out something truly custom and that uniquely fits their brand etc. It’s up to us designer to embrace the AI tools the best we can to be as design and time efficient as possible and just become more POW!!erful as we can for one and all, and all ways forward! I take a lot of pride in putting together uniquely dynamic and on scroll engaging (animations, parallax etc) mobile first designs and most of these new tools and platforms don’t have these features but hey of course who knows what’s ahead 🎉

I do think AI will be able to replace everything, not even doctors will be safe, the AI will be able to make incredible diagnoses and if surgery is required there are already robots that can do it. In the cretive industry people will just ask some software for a website, graphic design, video, etc. and it will be done fast and cheap, no nead for the human element. How long until that happens is just a matter of time. It's insane how things are evolving and how quickly when it comes to AI. Now scientists and academics are not talking about the AI technology itself, but now the focus is in the consequences and what will humans do.

Love this! I think people are too focused on being replaced rather than taking advantage of these as the tools they are!!

An interesting tool. It can serve as "First Aid" when you need to show your own website very quickly. I personally have no need to use this service.

Once AI is fully trained, how fast will it be able to mimic fresh design from actual designers? 👊

Tools like this are just the beginning. What’s becoming clear is that we’re at the dawn of a new era in which AI is going to see exponential growth. Many jobs which were assumed to be unassailable are no longer secure. The power behind the current AI is the speed at which it can reiterate data and build upon itself to the point where human talent, skill, and intelligence will be unable to match.
