  1. I haven't completed it yet as I am at 1:58:21 but I can say for sure that i couldn't have asked for a better video. The way you explain things is really easy to understand and is very professional. I can't believe that this course is for free.. Thank you so much mate. I am learning the brush tool now while working on that doggy photo but I can see how I am learning new stuff in a fun and easy way

  2. Woow!! I Made it to the end!!! And I have to say You are an Amazing teacher Mr.Dan!!! I learned an awful lot! and I can't wait to do amazing things on Ai!! And you're hilarious! haha so many things to say about that but you're a great dude and I wish You the Best Dan!!

  3. Thank you a lot , I thought this tutorial was going to be complicated but it's very comprehensible and very digestible. I feel like I now know how other professional artists do vectors, it's less harder than I thought when you know the basics, even with basic knowledge you can already make popping good illustrations or artwork with AE illustrator tools, it's ridiculous, even if your bad at art AI will help make it look good for you.

  4. I have a specific project in mind, and even though I knew I don't have any use for my specific project I still watched then and learned a lot. Illustrator is a cool program, and I wish I had taken the time to look more into it years ago.
    Thank you.

  5. So much helpful content, really worth the watch to get me started! Easy and fun to follow along with and I picked up so much understanding and skills! Thank you v. much ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I downloaded the course files from the link but the colours on my file and the colours in video seem different don't know why but the colours in my illustrator seem kinda off can you help ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

  7. I have Adobe Illustrator 2021 and it took me 3 weeks to figure this out: if you're missing some tools like the arc and the twirl, etc there are 3 dots under the main toolbar. Click on them, then find the little menu button at the top right and choose advanced instead of basic.

Incredible tutorial BTW ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ’™ really easy to understand and follow! ๐Ÿ˜€

  8. This course covers all the basics and if you are ADHD like me (appreciate the detail and get things explained without feeling rushed) this course is for you. It will enable you to explore the tools and get shit done. I couldnยดt thank you enough!

  9. Hey, Dan, I want to thank you for the awesome class you've given to us. I've learned more in 30 minutes of watching your video, than I ever had with my designer friends. So, thank you!

  10. at 1:47… "you need to download the exercise file. So there will be a link on this page for source files." Ok, where? Not even 2 min into your video,…have burned 30 min looking for the elusive 'source' / 'exercise' files. The comments here say this free course is great,…I'd love to have their experience. Link, please?

  11. I admire he is positive, and in great mood while explaining, but unfortunately he is doing a good few things which I just cannot find useful. What the hack so many coloring in green and black, then just to return to white, no clear for me. I think it's a lot of useless talk. Just an ex., around 41:23 – here no clue, what and why he does this.

  12. I've been using photoahop for 20 years and Illustrator always confused me with its differences. But thanks to you I now understand it so much better and can actually start playing around and learning more. Thank you so much for this.
