I really liked the video, great content!
I like that no bullshits just straight to the points!.
Thanks!
Thanks!
you're the best man!
Thanks
Oh Yeah, awesome tip number 10. I stopped using w3 schools because of that. Its absolutelly BOARING having my page load speed killed by those add. I avoid that site at all cost.
When it comes to simplicity there's a lot of clients that want all kinds of crazy designs and cram in everything they can think of… and they're stubborn, they just don't get it. It's annoying.
the power of keeping it basic was my choice from the get go, even with little experience 11 years ago my clients were always happy and thankful for this mindset
i just love this guy. my web dev dream is still live because of him
i really loved your tips but to be honest you are looking like a ufc fighter . but thanks for your idea
could be great if you are showing some visuals of the topic you are talking.
Thanks a million for this.
You forgot a good hosting cite called bluehost, bluehost is super cheap and very easy to code in. If your interested here’s a link: https://www.bluehost.com/track/jackrasior/
I've once visited a site that took 100% of my CPU resource. Then I looked up at my chrome's adblock, it shows 100+ ads for that single wesbite. What's worse is that site complains about disabling my adblock.
Greeting!
I want to work in dubai as web designer/developer.
Kindly suggest.
Thanks. I have lost my pc recently so I am watching video on a smartphone. I have noticed many tutorials are not optimise for small aspects ratio. The focus or the zoom must be on the code or key message.
Great Video tutorial as usual Love it Thanks Bros
100% agree. I've been doing this for years every one of those points are spot on. These are the things that matter – not how "cool" or "fancy" a website is.
I would move speed towards top 5 at least though. Also, as others have mentioned, accessibility is growing in demand. Something for all devs to consider nowadays.
I think u will get good youtube response if u make a video on " videochat app " with javascript libraries
Hey Brad! i brought your 2 courses(JS and HTML-CSS) on Udemy and went through them and liked them very much. now i'm looking to purchase your course of REACT but unsure if it contains REACT-NATIVE in it too?
Thanks for always being genuine, Brad.
Do you know why web dev jobs give interviews as if they are google? I want to do front-end, almost done with my bachelors and can't pass an interview because they pertain to large algorithm problems. I literally just want to design and implement websites and applications. Not build data structures. It's been really depressing and it seems my major was a huge waste of money.
Man, I'm just passing by to thank you A LOT for all your videos. I've just landed a front-end job after many months being unemployed. What you do is great and I hope you continue in the future, once I get some cash under my belt I'll be sure to help with what I can so you can keep delivering amazing content to people out there. Cheers!
I think that last tip was the best advice for digital marketers: don't make ads feel overtly like ads or people will immediately tune them out
Hit the patreon button to support Brad. I watched and still watching more Brad's videos those day than netflix (a monthly subscription). So no doubt on this hit the button.
7:13 isn’t a 5000 px image very small?
Hey Brad please make a tutorial video on ext js
Traversy Media is the place, I've taken all of their advice's, try to understand and be part of future technology to the rest of my life, I've even just create a YouTube channel to follow my progress. My vlogs due to drop in next days, I would love some support / feedback so please hit subscribe and check it out. Peace and love.
Well said, thanks Brad…
Good tips there that people should take in.
An important tip is viewability.
If you have a grey and a red box, you would look on the red box first because it is proven to catch our eyes first.
It's the same for the content. What content should appear first in front of the users eyes? What should be prioritized? Contrast, size and colors plays a big part there.
Another is Design Patterns. Follow simple patterns that most people recognize to help them navigate faster. An example is a navigation bar. You would want to place it at top and not the bottom. Most text editors like Word and Google docs place the text settings at specific areas on the top of the document because that is what the user is used to.
Indication is also important to reduce confusion. Examples would be an animated pointer which tells you to scroll down to see more of the page or some other indicators for navigation.
it is okay if download your udemy courses for free(illegaly) ?
Next one has to be about "web push" notifications setup! 🙂
Is there a copyright if you copy a website layout?
